Market Trading Hours
Session times, instrument hours and rollover windows.
Forex trades 24 hours a day, five days a week — the market never really sleeps from the Sydney open on Monday to the New York close on Friday. Other instruments follow exchange-based sessions and have stricter trading windows. The timeline below shows the four major FX sessions across a single 24-hour period in GMT, with a live indicator for the current moment.
Times shown in GMT. The London–New York overlap (13:00–17:00 GMT) typically sees the highest liquidity and tightest spreads.
